One thing I understood from my major age is if any party want to hide any type of sensational issues (ex rape, murder, corruption) they will create a new problem.

When I was studying my 1st year of college, there was a highly sensational rape case. In Pollachi, 9 men accused were blackmailed and raped barely 40-45 people by threatening them on social media with fake accounts stating that they will post their videos on Facebook. A 19 year old girl come forward and filed a complaint against the 9 victims. During the time a 2 year old boy slipped into a 600 foot borewell in Nadukattupatti. The Pollachi case was hidden because of this small boy case.
